This Saturday at 9 PM at the Parish Church in Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée, Andréa Ferréol will read excerpts from “The Paradise of Kilimanjaro” (Gallimard) by Joseph Kessel.

Andréa Ferréol began her career by taking theater lessons with Jean-Laurent Cochet. She gained attention in 1973 in “La Grande Bouffe,” which marked the beginning of her career. Subsequently, she was nominated for a César for Best Supporting Actress twice, in 1976 for “Les Galettes de Pont-Aven” and in 1981 for “Le Dernier Métro.” She dedicates herself to the association “Aix-en-Œuvres,” which aims to inaugurate the Cézanne 2006 festivities in Aix-en-Provence by setting up a monumental statue (2.20 meters) of Cézanne by the sculptor Gabriël Sterk. In April 2016, she released her first autobiography titled: “The Passion in the Eyes” (L’Archipel). In 2017, we saw her in the cinema in Marc Dugain’s film, “The Royal Exchange.”
