The new identity of the Port of Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, a major hub of tourism, port, and commercial activity on the French Riviera, has just seen the completion of two phases of significant redevelopment and beautification work initiated in 2016 by the port’s concessionaire at the seaside resort.
This work was planned in three phases, over three off-seasons, so as not to disrupt the activity of the marina.
– Between October 2016 and April 2017, buildings such as the harbor master’s office and the launching slipway of the old port were redeveloped, and new restrooms for boaters were created. The commerce quay became a pedestrian zone.
– The second phase of the work, launched in October 2017 and completed in April 2018, saw the construction of fixed pontoons and the extension of the pedestrian zone from the commerce quay to the centenary parking lot. The Port of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat also strengthened its commitment to protecting biodiversity by installing a vacuum system for black and gray water.
The third phase of the work, which includes the completion of the refurbishing of quays and pontoons and the creation of a new mooring plan for the old port, will also be presented to you. It will begin in October 2018 and will be completed in spring 2019.
