As part of the “Put on Your Sneakers” initiative in anticipation of the Alpes-Maritimes Marathon, the department inaugurated yesterday the first training session at the Charles Ehrmann Stadium.
To show their support for the Alpes de la Méditerranée’s candidacy for UNESCO World Heritage status, department agents are invited to run the Nice-Cannes marathon solo, in pairs, or in teams of six.
For this purpose, World Champion Stéphane Diagana was, for the duration of a session, the coach of the participants to help them achieve their goals with personalized training. It brought smiles to both young and old who came to witness this emotion-packed evening.
