“At the eleventh hour of the eleventh day… The Victory” at the Louis Nucéra Library

On the occasion of the Centenary of the Great War 1914-18, the exhibition with the evocative title “At the eleventh hour of the eleventh day… Victory” will be presented at the Louis Nucéra Library.

The bugle sounds on the Franco-German front. The end of the fighting, at last! On November 11, 1918, Germany, following Bulgaria, the Ottoman Empire, and Austria-Hungary, signed the armistice at Rethondes. The war is over!

The exhibition features a collection of documents: posters, newspapers, writings, and images belonging to the rich heritage collections of the Municipal Library with a Regional Focus in Nice.
