The Association of Mayors and Presidents of the Communities of Alpes-Maritimes (AMF 06) organized yesterday the 2nd edition of the Fair of Mayors, Local Elected Officials, and Public Decision Makers of Alpes-Maritimes, at the Palais Nikaïa in Nice. The program included offering solutions, facilitating decision-making, and a space for exchange and meetings.
This fair, dedicated to the actions and concerns of communities and public organizations, is the gathering of elected officials and decision-makers who prepare the future of municipalities and the territories of tomorrow.
As a real place of exchange and meetings with the region’s businesses, the Fair of Mayors, Local Elected Officials, and Public Decision Makers is the major event for finding future solutions together. This event constitutes a unique meeting place between public decision-makers and suppliers of goods and services to City Halls and local communities.
The fair includes an exhibition, territory meetings, and a general assembly of the AMF 06. The exhibition brings together stands presenting products, services, equipment, and solutions in areas such as building, industrial equipment, urban furniture, IT, telecommunications, vehicles, urban transports, collective catering, communication, green spaces, renewable energies, signage, banks, insurance, etc.
“After the success of the 1st Fair of Mayors, Local Elected Officials, and Public Decision Makers, the Association of Mayors and Presidents of Communities of Alpes-Maritimes has decided to pair once again its General Assembly with this unmissable event,” declared Honoré Colomas – President of the Association of Mayors and Presidents of Community of Alpes-Maritimes – in the preamble to this General Assembly of ADM06. “You will be able to discover innovative products and solutions for communities and exchange with over 50 exhibitors.”
The main objectives of the fair are:
- to propose technical solutions and innovative services to decision-makers,
- to facilitate decision-making in response to the new challenges of territories,
- to position itself as a representative showcase of the sector’s dynamism,
- to be a place of meetings and exchanges for all actors in communities.
Therefore, on the program of this great General Assembly of ADM06; worrying resignations of local officials, the municipal elections of 2020, or even the warning following the #balancetonmaire campaign on Twitter.
There was also mention of rurality… or not?, with the reminder made by Charles-Ange Ginésy, alongside Christian Estrosi and Georges-François Leclerc, prefect of Alpes-Maritimes, about access to high-speed internet for the entire department by 2021 and the desire to “develop every parcel” of Alpes-Maritimes.
