From January 8 to 11, 2019, the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas, a global meeting point for the high-tech industry, will host 16 startups from the Côte d’Azur.
Driven by the SUD Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur Region, the Alpes-Maritimes department will once again be present at the CES in Las Vegas, the must-attend trade show for innovative companies with 200,000 visitors and over 4,700 exhibitors in 2018.
The CCI Nice Côte d’Azur will support the companies from the Côte d’Azur, in partnership with the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis and the Sophia-Antipolis Agglomeration Community.
“This trade show is a tremendous opportunity for companies to develop their business and conquer new markets. It represents a unique occasion for startups to showcase their products and services, to perceive market trends, and to expand their network,” explained Jean-Pierre Savarino, President of the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur.
In 2018, 40 exhibiting startups were present at the CES within the SUD Region delegation, including 12 companies from the Alpes-Maritimes. At CES Las Vegas 2019, our region will have the largest French delegation with 52 exhibiting startups, including 22 startups from the Alpes-Maritimes.
“Participation in major international trade shows is a key growth factor for our companies, and successful participation requires preparation,” added President Savarino. The CCI Nice Côte d’Azur is establishing the necessary conditions to ensure companies get the most out of their participation in the trade show:
– Beforehand, by providing individual support to companies in submitting their application, communication, and logistical aspects.
– During the event, through communication actions that increase company visibility (social media) and support in scheduling appointments.
– Afterward, by offering a collective and individual program focused on “how to turn professional contacts into business opportunities.”
