Focus on the gigantic campus set to open in a few months to the east of Nice.
In September 2022, at the heart of the urban technology park Nice Méridia and the Eco-Valley, the Campus Sud des Métiers will host nearly 2,000 work-study students from vocational certificate to engineering degree. More than 50 programs will be available.
While construction of the building (spanning 24,200 m²) continues, and a first section has already been delivered allowing 400 students to start their academic year, the Campus Sud des Métiers continues its progression by offering new training opportunities with two new partners: AFTRAL and the ACE Education Group.
AFTRAL is the leading training organization in logistics transportation whereas the ACE Education Group brings together the schools AMOS, CMH, and ESDAC around professions in Sport Management, Hospitality, Luxury, Tourism and Hospitality, Applied Arts, Graphic Design, Communication, and Design.
Jean-Pierre Savarino, the president of the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce, commented on these partnerships:
“By integrating these two new partners, AFTRAL and the ACE Education Group, our offer expands to meet the needs of companies with training connected to the needs of the region. With AFTRAL, the branch logic takes full sense as our Automotive Training Institute offers a range of training in the automotive and mobility sector. A joint offer with AFTRAL in maintenance activity is the perfect example of this skills crossover.”
“Thanks to the ACE Education group, a higher education platform, the Campus Sud des Métiers intends to accelerate its development through the intersection of synergies between the partners. Already present in Nice with AMOS Sport Business School, a pioneering school in sports management, the ACE Education Group is betting on two new fields within the campus, thus contributing to an enrichment of the training offer.”

In this Campus Sud des Métiers, a new form of learning is going to be implemented. The building and its facilities have been designed with an innovative educational development approach. Access to educational content should be possible both inside and outside the campus, “anytime, anywhere, on any system,” allowing the content to be shared, exchanged, commented on, and enriched. Numerous innovative digital tools like connected glasses or virtual headsets will be available to students for this learning experience.
The Campus Sud des Métiers aims to meet the needs of businesses by offering training connected to the jobs of the region and adapted to future professions across 10 major sectors: Automotive and Mobility-Commerce/Sales and Customer Relations/IT-Engineering and Project Management- Nautical/Digital-Career Guidance and Professional Development / Pharmacy/Health/Personal Services / Human Resources-Quality / Tourism and Catering.
The main goal is to endow the region with innovative educational equipment for learning the professions of today and tomorrow.
