Covid-19: Germany will quarantine unvaccinated travelers coming from the PACA region.

Latest News

Starting Sunday, travelers without a vaccination pass departing from the south of France to Germany will be subject to quarantine upon entering German territory.

This Friday, Germany announced through Robert Koch (the German public health institute) that the country will implement new restrictions for entering the country. These restrictions specifically target travelers who are not immunized against COVID-19 (those without a complete vaccination schedule and those who have not fully recovered from the virus) coming from several regions in the south of France, namely Occitanie, Corsica, and Provence-Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur. This decision, targeting these three regions, is explained by the significant spread of the Delta variant in these areas.
For travelers coming from these three regions, a 10-day quarantine will be required if the traveler does not have a health pass or is not considered recovered. Only a negative test can reduce this quarantine to 5 days.
