An exceptional offer will be implemented next school year for all the young people in the PACA region.
Starting September 1st, every young person aged between 18 and 26 residing in the PACA region will have the opportunity to use the entire regional transport network for free for 4 months. Until December 31st, the 482,000 young people aged 18 to 26 in the region (including 205,000 in training and 277,000 already engaged in professional life or in the process of integration) will be able to take any regional train or bus unlimitedly. The only condition is to download a free ZOU ticket before each trip on the SNCF Assistant app or on the TER SUD website and to present a photo ID.
This mobility offer was created to support young people in facing the challenges they encounter every day with the health crisis, as stated by Renaud Muselier, President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region and Deputy President of Regions of France: “Since March 2020, the Covid-19 health crisis has imposed unique and unprecedented constraints on our youth, and the return to life as we know it since last May must be supported by all public authorities, despite the emergence of a fourth wave. Together, we remain committed to developing our transportation offer to support the residents of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur in their daily lives.”
