The Prom’Classic is back in Nice for this weekend.

Latest News

The Promโ€™Classic is a sporting event that returns to Nice every year for our greatest delight. The 2023 edition will take place this Sunday, January 8, and it promises to offer a significant challenge.

The Promโ€™Classic is a charitable running race taking place on the legendary Promenade des Anglais, covering a distance of 10km. After the cancellation of the 2022 edition, the Promโ€™Classic makes a grand comeback in 2023. This major event attracts nearly 10,000 participants each year, making it one of the most prestigious sporting events on the French Riviera. It’s a charitable race, as the goal is to raise funds to donate to a different charitable organization each edition. The race is divided into two parts: a first timed 10km race, followed by a second untimed race on the same distance. The course is a round trip between the Theatre de Verdure and the Parc Phoenix.

Start at 9 AM

Participants will set off at 9 AM this Sunday, January 8, to cover the 10km of the Promenade des Anglais. A refreshment point will be available on the way out near the airport, as well as another at the finish near Jardin Albert 1st. Both races (timed and untimed) have the same course, with only the untimed runners starting after the timed ones. This new edition introduces for the first time the first women’s duo challenge. A wonderful initiative highlighting women during this sporting gathering. Unfortunately, registration for the races is closed, but you can still come and cheer on the happy participants of this edition. The results will be announced on-site after the events, a moment of suspense that will reveal the winners of this 2023 edition.

The Promโ€™Classic 2023 is likely to be a great success once again. If you want to know more, don’t hesitate to check the official website to get maximum information.
