This Sunday, starting at 10 AM, the Saint-Barthélémy fair will take place in the center of Nice.
This event, which will last all day from 10 AM to 8 PM, will be held between the Promenade du Paillon and the Esplanade de la Bourgada. Entry is free, and wearing a mask is recommended.
Historically, this festival was organized in honor of Saint-Barthélémy, the patron saint of butchers, tanners, and bookbinders. Besides an iconic market that was held at “Halles aux Herbes” square until the 19th century and then on Cours Saleya.
Through this large fair, the city of Nice celebrates its producers, artisans, local products, and their craftsmanship.
On this occasion, many participants will be present, among them: Le goût de Nice, Le Panier de la Manda, Régis Parmentier, La nouvelle herboristerie, AMAP as well as Les Niçois d’Adèle, Terre de Liens, and the green campus of the Agricultural and Horticultural High School of Antibes.
There will also be authors like Ernest Di Gregorio, Jean Emelina, Martine Schwartz, and Jacques Alessandra.

11:15 AM — Strolling performance by the Compagnie les Boulegans (juggling, dance, music)
1 PM – Strolling performance by the group Nice La Belle
2 PM — Conference by AMAP “Concept, charter, and contracts”
3 PM — Conference by the new herbalist “Local plants for our daily well-being”
4 PM — Conference by Terre de Liens “Agriculture and food, what are the issues for agricultural land”
5 PM — Storytelling by the Compagnie les Boulegans
7 PM — Closing with a fire show by the Compagnie les Boulegans
