“My Summer in Nice” has been offering a unique cultural and event program since the beginning of the summer. Tomorrow, two plays will be showcased at the Parc Castel des Deux Rois.

This Wednesday, the residents of Nice will have the opportunity to attend two plays at the Parc Castel des Deux Rois. โ€œHeureuse qui comme Armelleโ€ by the Gorgomar company and โ€œThรฉรขtres sur trรฉteauxโ€ by the lโ€™ร‰mergence company.

The first play, “Heureuse qui comme Armelle,” will take place at 4 PM. It features Armelle (Aurรฉlie Pรฉglion), an old, somewhat gruff, and outdated woman who enjoys talking and sharing stories of heroes that are part of the collective imagination. In her unique way, she retraces the epic journey of Ulysses, reviving a spirit of the ever-evolving oral tradition. To tell this epic story, theatrical juggling, storytelling, and object manipulation are employed.
The play will last 50 minutes and is intended for young audiences aged 6 and up.

The company lโ€™ร‰mergence will perform the play “Thรฉรขtres sur trรฉteaux” at 5:30 PM for 55 minutes. Through this play, the company aims to present all the elements that make up this concept of Theater. It offers a historical retrospective, from the creation of Theater to today, its evolution over the events, and how it has developed, while also addressing questions that any outsider might ask: how to rehearse a play, learn lines, design a character, find costumes and props, perform on stage in front of an audience, and more.
