The Ligne d’Azur network has just announced night work in the tunnel used by tramway line 2. As a result, the network will be disrupted from 11 PM until the end of service between the Port Lympia and Magnan stations. The latter will become the terminus station from Monday, May 15 to Wednesday, May 17 inclusive, from Monday, May 22 to Thursday, May 25 inclusive, and on Tuesday, May 30 and Wednesday, May 31 inclusive. Service will return to normal in the early morning.
These disruptions are due to the need for “mandatory technical monitoring to be conducted in the tunnel,” as specified by Ligne d’Azur.
To alleviate this inconvenience, replacement buses will be deployed during these periods. Ligne d’Azur adds that “a communication system is deployed across the network” to inform users.
