The Recipe:

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup of plant-based milk (almond or coconut)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric (fresh if possible)
  • 1 cinnamon stick or 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • A small pinch of black pepper and grated ginger (fresh if possible)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Pour all the ingredients into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Whisk to mix the ingredients well.
  • Reduce to low heat and let it steep for a good 10 minutes.
  • Strain.
