The conference series on archaeology continues with a third event at the MAMAC auditorium this Saturday, the 28th, at 3 PM!
Stรฉphane MORABITO, an underwater archaeologist, Alain GRANDIEUX, an archaeologist specializing in ceramics, and Jean-Paul POTRON, head of the Research and Inventory division (City of Nice – Department of Historical Heritage, Archaeology and Archives), will discuss the history and archaeology of the Casino de la Jetรฉe-Promenade.
In 2009, the City of Nice established an archaeological service to conduct both terrestrial and underwater excavations. It is the only local authority in France that has an archaeological service operating in both fields.
