The Cinรฉmathรจque of Nice is moving to the port of Nice for free open-air screenings from July 11 to August 29.
The event is back, transforming the Quai de la Douane into an open-air cinema all summer. As part of its “Beyond the Walls” initiative, the Cinรฉmathรจque of Nice offers a free film screening every Tuesday of the month, except on August 15, at the port. On the program: seven feature films of various genres.
After a tribute to Marilyn Monroe and musicals for the 2022 edition, this year’s 2023 programming honors Audrey Hepburn, productions from Nice, and science fiction. The program is thus organized around three themes: “In the Stars…”, “Audrey Hepburn, 30 years!” and “Summer on the Coast”. From space exploration to Brice of Nice, passing through Audrey Hepburn, thereโs something for everyone.
Whether it’s comedy, classics, or escapism that you’re looking for, be sure to arrive early enough to secure a spot. The screenings start at 9:30 PM but no reservations can be made in advance. Seating is limited so it’s first come, first served!
