The municipality of Nice is once again offering to collect your Christmas trees. Starting from Tuesday, January 9, 2024, the city of Nice invites you to deposit Christmas trees in designated enclosures. Eleven enclosures are available throughout Nice, accessible until Monday, January 22, 2024.

The aim is to combat illegal dumping and to raise awareness among residents about easily recycling trees. A reminder that leaving your tree on the street is prohibited and subject to a fine.

A service provided by the municipality, the trees are recycled into compost. To transport your tree, it is possible to easily wrap it in a โ€œtree bag,โ€ which is also compostable.

The waste disposal sites of the Nice Cรดte dโ€™Azur Metropolis are also available for Nice residents to drop off their tree for free. As for artificial trees, they are not accepted in the enclosures; they can only be disposed of at a waste disposal site.
