The Sud PACA Region selects 15 Azurian startups to participate in the CES show in Las Vegas from January 9 to 12, 2024.
Once again this year, the Sud Region is supporting 16 startups at the CES show. On Tuesday, January 9, Renaud MUSELIER, President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, inaugurated the Region’s stand at CES Las Vegas.
It is a very prestigious competition in various categories: the CES, Innovation Awards. The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has become the largest trade show dedicated to technological innovation in consumer electronics (televisions, digital tablets, smartphones…). It is held annually at the beginning of January in Las Vegas.
This competition offers prizes that honor the design and engineering of technological products. Consequently, they are presented with the aim of winning the prize or presenting their project to investors. The CES innovation show has a multitude of categories of technological products.
The Sud Region at CES Las Vegas
The Sud region is accompanying 16 startups at the CES event in Las Vegas. By offering innovative solutions to combat climate change.
Present for the inauguration of the region’s stand, the President of the Region, Renaud Muselier, affirms that “Tech is a provider of solutions, notably for the climate, our health, and our quality of life: this is one of the reasons for our presence at this congress.”
Present at the show with the ambition to enhance the attractiveness of the region to investors, as well as to strengthen the development of regional companies internationally. This show is therefore an opportunity for the PACA region to open up to an international level.
The Sud Region supports companies and projects in favor of environmental transition
The Region enables companies to develop projects while respecting environmental elements. The Province offers many initiatives such as Sud Entreprises, which provides a range of 100% Climate financing and support tools.
The Sud Region chooses to promote technology startups from its territory by focusing on environmental issues, for example:
- How innovation can address air quality challenges in cities.
- As well as the preservation of biodiversity, and water management.
- How innovation provides solutions to the challenges of population aging and inclusion?
- How technology facilitates our lifestyles in an already hyper-connected world?
