Mobilization day to say “No to the crime of solidarity”

An inter-associative initiative has been launched at the national level for different organizations to collectively express their refusal to see the re-emergence of the offense of solidarity.

Join us this February 10 at 8:30 am in front of the Palais de Justice for a day of mobilization to say “No to the offense of solidarity.”

For several months, some people providing aid to migrants (Roma, exiles, undocumented people…) here and there in France (in Calais and the Roya Valley but also in Paris, Perpignan, Saint Etienne, and elsewhere) have been troubled, sometimes prosecuted, and even sentenced for helping migrants.

In the words of Bernard Thibault, Secretary General of Secours Catholique, “Attacking citizens’ solidarity is attacking the cohesion of our society.”
