The department is experiencing another rainy episode this Wednesday, November 10. Météo-France has placed the Alpes-Maritimes on yellow alert for “rain-flood” throughout the day.
The weather is not expected to clear up today, and storms are even expected to affect the coastline during the afternoon.
The alert also concerns the risk of floods. There is indeed a risk of a rapid rise in water levels with special monitoring for the Var river.
Despite the relatively mild temperatures for the season, the showers are likely to intensify during the afternoon.
