On the morning of this Friday, a tram collided with a teenage girl near the Magnan tram station.
A little before 9 am this morning, an accident occurred between a tram and a 14-year-old girl on line 2, Rue de France, between the “Magnan” tram station and the “Centre Universitaire Méditerranéen”.
According to BFM Côte d’Azur, the teenager was on the phone at the time of the collision and had not heard the tram coming. As a result, the young girl was thrown several meters and was slightly injured. She was immediately taken care of by the emergency services, who took her to Lenval Hospital.
Following this accident, the tram was evacuated, and traffic on lines 2 and 3 was temporarily halted. It resumed a few minutes later, after the schoolgirl was evacuated around 9:10 am.
