Following Emmanuel Macron’s address, many French people rushed to book an appointment to receive a third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
From December 15, the validity of the health pass for those over 65 will be conditioned on receiving a booster shot of the vaccine.
The third dose is experiencing growing success, known as the Macron effect among specialists. However, this success is also explained by the need to obtain the health pass. Additionally, the third dose had been demanded by many doctors concerned about the declining immunity in the elderly.
