On Sunday, the National Sport Museum and MAIF will inaugurate the traveling exhibition Sport Planète. Several activities will be offered during this day dedicated to sport and sustainable development.
Created by the National Sport Museum, in partnership with MAIF and the SVPlanète association, the traveling exhibition Sport Planète details the main issues related to sports and the environment. With the help of 17 richly illustrated thematic panels, it questions and informs about the impact of sports on our planet, which has become particularly vulnerable and subject to many disruptions that also necessarily alter the habits of sports stakeholders.
Designed in a “roll-up” format, it is easily transportable and can be set up in just 15 minutes.
As the only national museum dedicated to sport in France, the National Sport Museum promotes and enhances the values of sport. Located in Nice, in the heart of the Allianz Riviera stadium, it boasts a unique collection in the world (45,000 objects and 400,000 documents) and welcomes over 70,000 visitors annually to its permanent and temporary exhibitions.
On the occasion of this inauguration, the National Sport Museum will host the arrival of the Sport Planète Relay supported by MAIF and organized by the SVPlanète association. The aim of this relay is to unite the sporting world around environmental protection and to promote sports practices that uphold sporting and environmental values.
During this event day, the National Sport Museum will open its doors free of charge to the present families.
