The king is dead, long live the king! On the occasion of a final parade and the last review of the floats, the king of energy was burned in Place Massena. There was a bit of fatigue for the dancers, musicians, and even the floats. But smiles, most of all, everywhere. Behind the light displays of Place Massena, carnival fans were able to take selfies with all the participants in the celebration.
A classic finale for the 2017 version of the Nice carnival. Children and parents shared a final moment with the mechanical monsters of the Niçoise festival. A last appearance by the dancers, a final tribute to the king, and the calm of the night resumes its reign for another year before the festivities return next February.
