Latest News

The Anatole Jakovsky International Museum of Naive Art is undergoing renovations. It will be temporarily closed until January 4, 2022, inclusive.

The museum will celebrate its fortieth anniversary in 2022. It is getting a makeover for this occasion and will reopen its doors on January 5.

These renovation and beautification works have four main focuses.

Visitor reception and disability accessibility will be improved in two stages, first inside then outside. The ticketing/reception counter will be reorganized. A shop area will be installed.
The waterproofing of roof terraces, under terraces, and balustrades will be restored.
The museum’s activity rooms and technical, scientific, and artistic spaces will be redesigned.
The Park of Château Sainte Hélène will be redeveloped. Exotic trees will be replanted, and there will be interventions on the arboreal heritage.

A unique anniversary program is announced by the City of Nice, featuring a participatory workshop for making birthday cards for the museum.
