The Nice Eagles opened the scoring early in the game through Jakub Matai, but Rouen equalized in the first period thanks to Andrew Johnston.
After a balanced second period, Jesse Pelamo allowed the visitors to take the lead on the scoreboard again.
However, it was the Dragons who walked away with the three points. David Gilbert scored twice, along with goals from Rolands Vigners and Marc-André Dorion, which allowed the Normans to get back on track after their defeat at Anglet, even though the locals had a scare when the Nice team reduced the score with 8 minutes left before the final buzzer.
