La Trinité, the 5th municipality of the Metropolis, has been innovative for many years in terms of preventive measures, achieving significant results.
In line with the goal of continually enhancing and adapting its prevention and security policy, the first Prevention and Security Forum will be held over three days, starting this Thursday.
The highlight of this event is the gathering of all partners* working towards prevention and safety within the municipal territory.
The LOPPSI II law of March 14, 2011, which is a directive and planning law for internal security performance, follows the continuity of the first law implemented for the period 2002-2007. This has allowed for a 12.8% reduction in the number of incidents reported by the police and national gendarmerie, which equates to 500,000 fewer victims, and a 29.6% decrease in acts of petty crime.
