This year, you might have the chance to participate in the Nice Carnival! The organization is looking for 16 girls to parade on the 16 floats, who will be selected during the casting taking place on Saturday, December 11th.
Organized all day at the Spada hall, you might have the opportunity to be on one of the floats of the Nice Carnival.
How to apply?
You just need to be between 18 and 30 years old, at least 1.70m tall, and motivated. Young ladies with dancing talents or who are comfortable in circus arts are also welcome.
According to Caroline Roux, “Each young girl will step into a character. Even though there are physical criteria, I am looking for a host, a face, a liveliness. Someone who conveys something, because each recruited girl will animate a moment.”
You will need to be able to immerse yourself in a character and capture the audience’s attention. Many floats will reach 4 meters in height, so it’s necessary to have a sense of balance and not be afraid of heights.
The casting will take place at Spada hall, 22 bis, avenue Denis-Semeria, from 9 am to 6 pm without interruption. No pre-registration is required. You just need to come with a swimsuit, high heels, and an identification document.
