Henri Moszkowicz, a survivor of the Nazi camps who now works for the memory of the Holocaust.

For him, passing down the tragedy of his ordeal to younger generations through the account of the sufferings he endured is an imperative duty of vigilance, a necessity to prevent a return to hatred and to defend republican values.

Henri Moszkowicz has worked extensively for the duty of Remembrance. He has taken numerous initiatives in schools to testify to young people in Nice about the hell of deportation. He also took 120 middle-school students from Nice to Auschwitz on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz camp.

Born in Nice in 1934, Henri Moszkowicz was 18 years old when he was arrested in Colmars Les Alpes with his mother. He was liberated on April 20, 1945, by the American army under General Patton.
