Perle Armour is an electro-acoustic poetic woman of contemporary French chanson. She has no filter on her subjects but uses both poetry and gentleness, as well as rage and tenacity. She enjoys disorienting to go beyond representations and beliefs, conventional thinking, and opportunism. She enters the battle of this chaotic, rapidly changing world; she doesn’t make observations, take sides, or give lessons. She shares human stories, their traces of love, their desire for the absolute, and their revolts. Through music, she offers to experience a moment out of oneself to return with strength, hope, and rage (to live). A performance that is both caressing and rumbling.
