For their first International Meeting of the season, the divers of the Olympic Nice Natation flew to Stockholm where no less than 200 female and male divers from 6 nations (Denmark, Finland, France, Norway, Sweden, Turkey) gathered.
The team, comprised of 5 divers: Gabrielle LEBON, Clรฉmence CARON, Dayen SAYHI, Lucas LEMONNIER, and Leyth AGOUN, was the sole representative of the tricolor flag.
Just like in the French Winter Championships, Leyth (6 medals, including a hat-trick in gold) and Clรฉmence (5 medals, including a double in gold) confirmed their level on the international stage. Leyth, in Category C, dominated the 3m springboard competition from start to finish and achieved his best total score (283.05 points), winning the gold medal.
On the 1m springboard, he had to fight hard to secure his place as leader. Still in Category C, but in the girls’ competition, Clรฉmence secured the bronze medal on the 3m, thanks to her consistency. Unfortunately, this was not enough on the 1m springboard.
Due to a lack of dives with high difficulty coefficients, she ranked 8th. Despite good progress in training, Lucas is still unable to break through and finished 7th on the 1m and sixth on the 3m springboard.
