On Tuesday, April 11, organized by the departmental Olympic and sports committee of Alpes-Maritimes in partnership with the departmental council and the departmental directorate of social cohesion, this large free event for sports initiation took place at the Bourgade sports complex.
In La Trinité, young people were able to participate in a multitude of sports activities: athletics, badminton, baseball/softball, basketball, climbing, fencing, football, golf, gymnastics – trampoline, field hockey, judo, karate DA, road safety course (FFST), pétanque, sport boules, rural sports, tennis, table tennis, shooting, volleyball.
The Sports Caravan aims to impart the Olympic values of respect, friendship, and excellence. To this end, workshops are set up at the “Red Card to Violence” stand.
Main theme: Giving a voice to the youth of the Côte d’Azur through a postcard centered around Paris 2024’s candidacy for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Sport and citizenship: Learn life-saving skills for free: Alongside the firefighters of Alpes-Maritimes (SDIS06), learn these first aid skills that can make all the difference. (Calling 112, performing CPR, defibrillation, applying a tourniquet…)
Preventive action with BPDJ 06 (Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Brigade 06) on addictive behaviors.
