The redevelopment of Rue Trachel, a key element in the beautification of the center of Nice.

The redevelopment of Trachel Street is one of the key components of the project aimed at enhancing Nice City Center (or PNRQAD – National Program for the Redevelopment of Degraded Historic Districts).

Over the next three years, several construction and redevelopment operations will be carried out in this area:

– At number 3 on the street, the creation of 60 housing units (30 for students and 30 subsidized rental units) and the development of future premises for “La Ruche” on the ground floor,

– The creation, on the former Colonel Jeanpierre parking lot, of 32 social rental housing units, a management office for the landlord Logirem on the ground floor, and a nursery with 40 cribs,

– The creation of a semi-pedestrian walkway on Trachel Street between Combattants en Afrique du Nord and Dabray streets,

– The redevelopment of Colonel Jeanpierre Square.
