The Departmental Directorate of Public Finances of the Alpes-Maritimes and the Departmental Council of the 06 gathered this Thursday, at the Palace of the Kings of Sardinia, in Nice, to sign the agreement on the digitization of the payroll slips of the community.
As part of the department’s GREEN DEAL and SMART Deal policies, Charles Ange Ginรฉsy, director of the Alpes-Maritimes department, Jean-Paul Catanese, departmental director of public finances, Xavier Beck, and Gilles Michalec met to sign this agreement. Its deployment is planned from April 1, 2024.
What changes?
The era of the payroll slip in the mailbox is over, where the most methodical meticulously filed them in a binder. Now we move to the digital age, with the ENSAP (Secure Digital Space for Public Agents), accessible 24/7 using any digital tool (PC, smartphone, tablet).
โThe Department is proud to take a new step in its dematerialization policy for more efficient management, in line with its SMART Deal and GREEN Deal policies,โ said Charles Ange Ginรฉsy. By using ENSAP to digitize their payroll slips, the Alpes-Maritimes becomes the first local authority in France to use it and will be able to benefit from several advantages. Savings on costs, paper, mailing, processing, or even postage.
A choice largely influenced by the current ecological context and the implementation of the digital innovation policy, as Charles Ange Ginรฉsy recalls. โThere are probably thousands of tons of paper that will be saved. Itโs the beginning of a long process where the slips will be kept for 75 years. Iโll let you imagine the savings.โ
