According to the final results from the Ministry of the Interior, Emmanuel Macron won the second round of the presidential election with 20,753,704 votes against 10,643,937.

The abstention rate stands at 25.44%. A total of 3,011,362 people, representing 8.49% of the voters, cast blank votes, while 1,058,220 ballots, accounting for 2.98% of the votes, were null.

The Constitutional Council is now set to officially announce the results on Wednesday.
