A concert by Corou de Berra in support of the Friends of Lacassagne

Latest News

This concert*, organized by the association Les Amis de Lacassagne, is part of the action plan for the years 2017 and 2018, namely: to rehabilitate the tunnel connecting Buildings A & B of the Antoine LACASSAGNE Center by passing under the roadway of Avenue de Valombrose; a necessary passage for the approximately six hundred people who use it daily.

Stamped with the seal of tradition, the Corou de Berra is a true vocal cord orchestra, a mixed polyphonic choir rooted in its origins, which defines itself as a living legend of polyphony and proves to be an essential interpreter of what it refers to as “Polyphonice”!

For centuries, in a region where the mountain separates waters and brings people together, exchanges between Provence, Piedmont, and Liguria have woven a network of paths, shaped the identity of populations, and established singing as a universal means of expression; today recognized as an authentic heritage.

Founded and led since 1986 by Michel BIANCO, the group has evolved, progressing through every level from simple conviviality to professionalism.

Today, the Corou de Berra stands as an ambassador of the Culture of an entire Region. It travels across Europe and the World, enchanting audiences with its melodies, which are subtle, atypical, traditional, or contemporary, always carrying a great artistic freedom anchored in curiosity and performed by an ensemble fully possessing its Culture and Art.
