The Nice Eagles traveled to the leader Rouen. The match took time to unfold. But Nice created a surprise and opened the scoring on the leader’s ice. Daniel Babka scored the first goal of the game, giving the Eagles the lead. However, the former leader did not back down, and the Nice goalkeeper made some great saves to maintain his team’s lead. Under pressure, the Eagles eventually cracked, and the Rouen team equalized. A One-Sided Second Period
While the Nice team was neck and neck with the Dragons, everything fell apart. In the second period, the leaders showed why they are at the top of the standings.
