The jury led by Spanish director Pedro Almodovar isolated itself from the world, and the global film community held its breath: the 70th Cannes Film Festival announced its winners.
The Palme d’Or was awarded to “The Square” by Swedish director Ruben Östlund, and the Grand Prix went to “120 Beats Per Minute” by French director Robin Campillo.
