As every year for Whit Monday, the municipality is organizing a festival in honor of Saint Petronilla to celebrate values and traditions cherished by the people of Laurens.
After the celebration of Mass, a procession is scheduled during which a few residents carry the statue of the Patron Saint as a symbol.
The event will also be an opportunity to announce the creation of stained glass windows in the newly restored Saint Petronilla Chapel, in a bid to enhance the Laurentin heritage.
