The 12th edition of the PhotoMarathon took place this Saturday in Nice, attracting numerous photography enthusiasts.
The concept is simple: participants must take 12 photos on 12 distinct themes, all within 12 hours. More than just a marathon, it is primarily a competition that requires talent and creativity.
While it may initially seem easy to capture images related to a given theme, only the best among them will secure their authors a place among the competition winners.
As every year, nearly 200 candidates roamed the streets of Nice from 9 AM to 9 PM, hoping to capture the perfect illustration corresponding to each of the 12 themes, revealed at a pace of 4 every 4 hours.
On July 5th, the PhotoMarathon verdict will be announced at the ZonMé in Nice. 14 participants will be designated winners and rewarded for their performance.
Among the prizes, the best participants can hope to receive photography equipment, restaurant meals, books, a photography workshop, jewelry, and more.
