Since the morning of Friday, June 23, the 86 painted pebbles by the students of Saint-Exupรฉry School in Lโ€™Escarรจne have been displayed at the temporary memorial at Villa Massรฉna.

These 86 pebbles, painted in blue, white, and red and bearing the name of each victim of the Nice attack, are intended to be placed on the Himalayas on the upcoming July 14 by 17 hikers from the Nice association “Exploits Without Borders” (in partnership with the “Promenade des Anges” Association).

This team of 17 hikers, who will go beyond their limits to reach their goal, is composed of doctors, nurses, firefighters, and members of the civil society.

The expedition, which will take place between June 28 and July 27, 2017 (departure from Nice Airport on Tuesday, June 27, at 9:00 AM), aims to reach the summit of Stok Kangri (6153m) in the Himalayas to deposit the pebbles, thus paying tribute to the 86 victims of the Nice attack on July 14, 2016, and to all those who participated in the rescue efforts that night.
