This summer, the National Sports Museum transforms into a timeless place where the powerful roars of automobile, motorcycle, sea, and aircraft engines can be heard.
From Icarus’s dream symbolizing the desire to fly, to the technological feats shaped by current environmental issues, and the rise of competition at the end of the 19th century, the exhibition narrates the captivating adventure of motorsports through a three-part journey centered around the theme of challenge: the human challenge, the technological challenge, and the sports challenge.
During the journey through the exhibition “Engines!”, extraordinary men and women become the guides of a true voyage through time.
The genius of pioneers, the prominent figures of the discipline, the excellence of legendary manufacturers, the importance of aesthetics, legendary races, and many other topics related to our current society are addressed in an interactive journey featuring more than 150 richly illustrated objects.
