Timed or not, runners will be sprinkled with different colored powders every kilometer. All 5 of them.

A medical certificate of no contraindication for running in competition or a sports license will be required upon registration.

This year’s fee varies according to the type of race you wish to participate in. For those opting for a “relaxed” pace, it will be: 23 euros for solo runners, 21 euros for groups of 4, as well as students between 12 and 18 years old. Children between 10 and 13 years old will need to pay 15 euros.
For those aiming for a timed performance, the price increases slightly: 26 euros compared to 23 for “solo” runners, 23 for groups of 4. Students between 14 and 18 years old will pay 24 euros.

So, what exactly is the Holi-Run?

In India, Holi, also called the festival of colors or Phรขlgunotsava, is the Hindu celebration of the spring equinox. It is celebrated throughout India for two days during the full moon, around February-March.

Originally, this celebration was associated with bountiful harvests and fertile land. Participants, dressed only in white, shower each other with colored pigments or colored water. The pigments they throw have a specific meaning: red for joy and love, blue for vitality, green for harmony, yellow for optimism, and pink for friendship.

Like last year, runners will enjoy an exceptional setting along the seaside. The start will be on Boulevard Eric Tabarly at around 8:30 PM. Therefore, all participants must collect their bib numbers at 3 PM. Several activities are scheduled at that time.

In the survival kit, participants will find protective glasses, a white t-shirt [as is traditional] as well as a bag of powder. Runners can use it during the post-race party scheduled for 9:30 PM.

DJ Ergo will be there to mix his hits, much to the joy of both the young and old. Because after the effort, comfort is well-deserved.

Pascal Thiriot, President of Azur Sport Organisation, thanks the former deputy mayor of Villeneuve-Loubet and his municipal services. For three years, they have helped organize this beautiful edition, colorful as ever.

Mr. Lionnel Luca gladly accepts these thanks, extending his gratitude in return. He declares: โ€œWe are delighted to be the town that kicks off the season at the start of summer. This year, we made a wise decision to shift the start time; otherwise, we might have faced heat strokesโ€ฆโ€

Regarding event communication, 50,000 flyers will be distributed in the coming days at major retail checkout counters as well as on the streets.
