Latest News

This Thursday morning marked the inauguration of the new post office by Monique Bailet, deputy mayor, in the presence of Lรฉa Lรฉger-Zurflub, Executive Director of Provence-Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur for the public and digital branch of La Poste.

After three months of work, the Nice-Magnan post office located on Avenue de la Californie reopened its doors last September. On the morning of November 23, it was time for the inauguration.

Completely renovated and modernized to improve customer service as well as the quality of work life for postal workers, the establishment is now part of the new generation of post offices: better organized, more open and more secure, offering a simpler and faster customer experience.

This work represents an investment of 700,000 euros for the Regional Directorate “Public and Digital” of La Poste.

Keeping up with the times…

The renewal of the Nice-Magnan establishment is part of a comprehensive modernization program for post offices. La Poste also announces plans to invest 800 million euros by 2025 in the modernization of its network. This investment plan will allocate 500 million euros to the renovation of post offices and 300 million euros to digital transformation.

In this vein, users no longer need to present their identity card to collect a package, for instance; providing one’s “La Poste digital identity” now suffices.
