From August 16 to 20, five folkloric groups from Belarus, Bolivia, Guinea-Bissau, Iran, and Nicaragua performed in Nice and several municipalities of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis.
Parades, local product stands, shows, activities in Nice leisure centers, world dance initiation and discovery of costumes, musical performances in the tramway and on Nice markets, were a true success!
After disappearing following its 60th edition in 1995, the International Folklore Festival, organized by the City of Nice with the participation of the Traditional Arts Collective – Lou Cat, is now the new essential gathering for lovers of traditional music, songs, and dances.
