Carmen is a gypsy love that is born and dies impetuously in a thousand ardent hearts and reaches the greatest peaks of dramatic intensity. All this in a world of gypsies, innkeepers, and smugglers.

Carmen is a real character who rejects stereotypes, but is a woman aware of her overflowing sensuality and personality, and will be the first woman to say publicly: “Carmen was born free and will die free.”
