The leading duo of the National Rally announced their imminent arrival in Nice next October for a grand meeting with their supporters.
They announced it respectively on their social media. Marine Le Pen and her loyal friend and president of the National Rally, Jordan Bardella, are arriving on October 9 in Nice. The duo is planning a grand back-to-school meeting with the people of Nice at the Palais Nikaรฏa from 2 PM to 5 PM.
For the moment, no other information or reason for the visit has been communicated by the National Rally. Entry will be free and open to all. An online ticketing service is already available to facilitate organization and allow those who wish to participate to register in advance.
Le Pen and Bardella: a return marked by warnings
To recall, the two leaders of the National Rally made their return to the political scene last weekend. Each in symbolic places: Hรฉnin-Beaumont for the deputy of Pas-de-Calais, and the fair of Chรขlons-en-Champagne for the party president.
While several political actors contest the appointment of Michel Barnier by Emmanuel Macron, Marine Le Pen did not challenge this choice. In her speech, she stated: “His initial statements seem to correspond to the man he is: expressing the wish to find a path with all political forces. This is what we expected from a Prime Minister.”
However, she quickly clarified that she would put the future government โunder surveillance,โ and that they will nonetheless โbe compelled in the coming weeks to indicate to the Prime Minister the red lines and measures we consider important.โ
Justice at the forefront before Nice
While waiting for their arrival in Nice, the head of the National Rally must first face a fine of โฌ500 with a suspended sentence for defamation against La Cimade, an association for aiding migrants, according to the decision of the Paris Court of Appeal delivered on Wednesday, September 11.
