The CDOS 06 launches “Continuons les Jeux” to extend the legacy of Paris 2024 until 2029. The first event will take place on March 1, 2025, in Auron, featuring activities and a symposium on the 2030 Winter Games.
Less than a week after the launch of the COJOP 2030, Auron will host the first event of the “Continuons les Jeux” program on March 1, 2025. This initiative, led by the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee of the Alpes-Maritimes, aims to maintain the spirit of the Paris 2024 Games and prepare the sporting future of the region.
The Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee (CDOS 06), chaired by Philippe Manassero, is launching “Continuons les Jeux.” This program follows in the footsteps of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games and extends over the period 2025-2029. The goal is to promote sports participation and support the development of sports across multiple areas: Olympism, health, sustainable development, and inclusion.
Highlight winter sports
The event on March 1, 2025, in Auron marks the beginning of this program. The day will spotlight winter sports with free demonstrations and activities. A symposium titled “From Milan Cortina 2026 to the French Alps 2030” will bring together experts and athletes.
Among the speakers, Philippe Bozon, a former ice hockey champion, and Patrice Barratero, a para-athlete in snowboarding, will share their experiences. Representatives from the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) and the Italian Consulate General in Nice will also be present. The day will conclude with an ice hockey game between the Avalanche Auron team and the Nice Eagles HV.
With this initiative, the CDOS 06 aims to mobilize local stakeholders and encourage sports participation for all.

- 10 am to 5:30 pm: activities and demonstrations
- 10 am to 12 pm: curling, Ice Hockey, Ice Skating, Central Square Biathlon, Chastellarรจs Snow Front
- 2 pm to 4 pm: biathlon, Chastellarรจs Snow Front
- 4 pm to 5:30 pm: curling, Ice Hockey, Ice Skating, Central Square
- 6 pm to 7:15 pm: symposium “From Milan Cortina 2026 to the French Alps 2030,” Forum Room “Maurice Rovery,” Avenue de Malhira, Auron with participation from the great ice hockey champion Philippe Bozon, para-athlete in snowboarding Patrice Barratero, the Italian Consul General in Nice, Italian CONI leaders, and other winter sports stakeholders.
- 7:30 pm: Ice Hockey match Avalanche Auron vs. Nice Eagles HV Central Square.
