« Nissa Pantai-Centre Cultural Occitan País Nissart e Alpenc » has just published the Calendari Nissart 2018, its 14th edition.

The proceeds from its sale will help support the activities of our cultural center and Radio Nissa Pantai.

A first print run of 100 copies, this calendar (A3 format, 13 pages) will be sold starting December 14 at 20 euros each, at: Lou Carretoun 18, bd Jean Jaurès, Librairie Niçoise 2 rue Défly, Papéterie Loisirs 17 rue Lépante.*

This year, it highlights cultural, festive, and musical events:

  • For Genoier (January), it’s the Dictada Occitana in Nissart with the students of Sasserno and adult students (the author will be: Cristòu Daurore)
  • For Febrier (February), it’s the Carneval Independent de Nissa, since 1990 in Nissa,
    the 29th Free, Independent and Gratuitous Carnival, with flour, joy, and fantasy …

    • For Març (March), it’s Radio Nissa Pantai celebrating its 10th anniversary
  • For Abriu (April), lo Festin dei Cogordons. Photo of a hollowed-out cougourdon by Morgan Barbier,

  • For May, it’s the World Championship of Palhasso throwing, since 1990 in Nissa St Ròc. The competition is open to those aged 3 to 99 and to all countries of the real or imaginary world. Free entry.

  • For Junh (June), the Sant Pèire festival and the Nissart pointus.

  • For Julhet (July), the homage to Garibaldi and the Pilo (30th World Pilo Championship in Coarasa on July 8.)

  • For Aost (August), the International Folklore Festival “La Farandole” from August 15 to 19 and Festivous in Ilonse from August 17 to 19.

  • For Setembre (September), presentation of the Local Currency: Nissart in the Lou Carretoun shop (bd Jaurès) for the commemoration of the Dedication of Nissa to Savòia and the Cremat Castle cellar.

  • For Octòbre, photos of the Fèsta d’Occitània of 2017: the creation of the Tina. The 21st Fèsta d’Occitània will take place on October 14 at 3 pm at the Francis Gag Theater.

  • For November, the homage to “Catarina Segurana!”.

  • Finally, December, a cougourdoun nativity scene (crèche) from Luceram.
