On Saturday, October 12, 2024, join us for an immersive and free day to better prepare for major risks. Meet us at the Music Pavilion in Albert 1st Garden, from 9 am to 6 pm.
The Music Pavilion in Albert 1st Garden will host a day dedicated to raising awareness about natural or accidental disasters. Come to learn and discover the right actions to take in emergency situations.
Immersive activities to better understand risks
To better grasp major risks, several immersive activities will be offered. An earthquake simulator will allow you to feel the power of a tremor. Similarly, a domestic fire simulation with smoke will immerse you in the real conditions of an apartment fire.
In addition, fun games and quizzes on risk prevention will be available to test your knowledge.
Information and awareness booths
Many stands held by professionals will be present to inform you. Visitors will be able to meet:
- The Environmental Health Safety and Risk Management Agency,
- The Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS06),
- The Municipal Civil Security Reserve,
- The Municipal Police, among others.
These experts will explain the measures to take in the event of a disaster. The focus will be on prevention and emergency situation management.
Practical workshops and lifesaving actions
In order to better prepare for everyday accidents, awareness workshops on first aid actions will be offered. You will learn the essential actions to take in case of an emergency. These workshops, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Education and IFFO-RME, will convey necessary vital reflexes.
This free activity day is open to everyone, young and old. Take this opportunity to inform yourself while having a fun and educational time with your family. So, will you be ready?
